AI Language Model Review: Claude 3 is Here!

Claude 3 is out and I’m helping you make sense of this awesome new model. There are a lot of exciting ways to use it – you’ll just have to be ready to pay the $20/mo to try it out!

🧑🏼‍💻 Anthropic's Claude 3 family is here with a biiiig upgrade. I'm impressed – anecdotally the outputs are very good compared to Claude 2, well on par with GPT-4.

In this quick video breakdown I translate some of the technical jargon and dive into why this launch is a big deal for anyone pushing the boundaries of what's possible with AI.

Here's the TLDR for my fellow innovators:

1️⃣ Claude 3 Opus takes the crown on industry benchmarks, showcasing jaw-dropping reasoning, math, and coding skills. If you're grappling with open-ended, novel challenges, this is your new best friend.

2️⃣ 📚 Large context windows (200k for most, 1M+ for the lucky few) mean you can now process huge datasets and complex documents without breaking a sweat... with 99.9% accurate recall :O

3️⃣ 📸 All models now have vision powers! Imagine the possibilities of seamlessly analyzing images, charts, graphs, and extracting text across industries. The vision capabilities are a great expansion of how we're able to bridge unstructured and structured data in production AI apps.

It's also worth noting the massive jump in zero-shot performance in coding abilities. I'm looking forward to tinkering with Claude 3 Opus as a pair coder!
