Positivity Hack: Rename Your Devices Using Positive Affirmations

Imagine if every time you connected two devices via Bluetooth, you received a positive and empowering affirmation. Well, in November I did something really simple that has resulted in major improvements to my frame of mind. I renamed all my devices with positive affirmations and empowering mantras.

My phone is named "I am a powerful & imaginative creator."

My airpods are named "I am the creator of my destiny"

My laptop is named "I manifest my intentions with ease, grace, and speed".

My tablet... is still named "Shep's iPad." 😂 <- Haven't gotten around to renaming this one yet b/c I don't use it as often, but it's coming.

We use our devices so frequently, and it's a missed opportunity to turn these little engagements into something motivational or inspiring. I know for a fact that when I'm at WeWork and I'm AirDropping files between phone / computer, I see other people's device names. I hope they see mine and catch the wave of inspiration.
